A PAPER SIZES
The most commonly used paper sizes in the UK are ‘A’ paper sizes. For instance the most common sizes used are A4 (half of an A3) and A5 (half of an A4).

B PAPER SIZES
‘B’ paper sizes are mostly used by commercial printers. They are larger than the ‘A’ paper sizes. Therefore allowing ‘A’ sized pages to be ‘planned-up / imposed’ onto ‘B’ sized paper with enough space for printers marks and colour bars etc.

C ENVELOPE SIZES
‘C’ sizes are the UK standard sizes for envelopes. They correspond with the ‘A’ sized papers. For example an A4 will fit in a C4 and an A5 will fit in a C5 and so on.
